Who we are

Our website address is: https://bizworklife.com.

Terms of Service

BizWorkLife is a product offered by Virtual Learning Environment Solutions, Inc., which is referred to as the “Corporation” below.

Statement of Rights and Responsibilities

By using or accessing BizWorkLife.com, you agree to this statement of the terms of service, including as updated from time to time.

Site integrity

You agree that you will not upload malicious code. You will not act such as to steal information from other users, perform denial of service attacks or otherwise induce severe load on our servers in a malicious way, or do anything unlawful or use the site to conduct unlawful activities. You also won’t help anybody else do these things.

You also agree to not share your password or grant anyone else access to your account.

Data charges

You understand that you may incur charges by your mobile carrier or internet provider above and beyond what the Corporation charges.

Third-party advertising

There is no third-party advertising or “targeted” ads of any kind on BizWorkLife.com

Changes to the Terms

If we make changes to our Terms of Service, Data Policy, or Cookie Policy, we will post a notice on our login landing page (the page you land on after logging in). We may also post potential changes to the terms or the site that we are considering making in order to ask you for feedback.

Termination

If you violate the letter or spirit of this Statement, or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for us, we can stop providing all or part of BizWorkLife.com to you. We will notify you by email or at the next time you attempt to access your account.

Limitations of use

BizWorkLife.com is for use primarily in the United States of America, with the exception that it is not for use in the (United States District Court) Eastern District of Texas.

Disputes

You agree to resolve any cause of action, claim or dispute you have with us arising out of or relating to this Statement or the Corporation exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts or a state court located in Essex County, Massachusetts, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such claims. The laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will govern this Statement, as well as any claim that might arise between you and us, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim. We will do our best to enforce our terms of service for the safety of all, but we cannot be held responsible for the conduct of others.

We provide the BizWorkLife.com service “as-is” and you use it at your own risk. We cannot guarantee its fitness for any particular purpose. You agree that if you have a claim against a third party, you will release the Corporation, its directors and agents from any claims and damages.

Data and information about you (Data Policy).

Information you knowingly provide.

We store the information that you enter and information related to the courses you take.

We store the email addresses of the user of the account, as well as login information. We may use this address to notify you of updates to the BizWorkLife.com website or its terms of service or data policy or cookie use policy.

We use the “best practices” of internet security available to us, including data transfer and storage, but, as you (should) know, this is no guarantee of security against future cyber crime. We are also bound to release data to law enforcement on legal request; and we should all assume that spy agencies have access to all internet traffic and may intercept and decode your information without your (or our) knowledge or consent.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Change of control of the Corporation.

As is the case with most companies, online or not, if the ownership or control of all or part of our or their assets changes, your information in whole or in part may be transferred to the new owner.

Contact forms

We store the information you enter.

Cookies and ways to identify you: how, when, and why we do it (Cookie Policy).

There are several industry-standard ways of sharing information with your browser, including cookies and local storage. We use cookies that allow us to know that you are logged in, as well as to see when visitors come to the site and what they are interested in.

Some of our information comes from Google Analytics. This information may include demographic information including your age, your sex, and your interests based on what websites you have visited that Google knows about. We also use Facebook (and Instagram, owned by Facebook) which does the same thing. They work to understand your interests and demographic information, and we ask them to show you our ads based on that information.

We do not share that information. Frankly, all we care about is how many people are visiting the site, and maybe how we reached them.

Note: The following come from some of the third-party software we used to build this site.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We use Google’s reCAPTCHA technology for our “Contact” form. There is a link to their policy on that form.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use analytic information from Facebook and/or others to try to understand how many people are coming, especially as a response to a marketing campaign. We may use coupons at the payment page to do the same thing- entering a particular code tells us where you heard about the deal.

Who we share your data with

We don’t share your data with us with anybody (but, of course, Google collects analytics data that they don’t even fully share with us and Facebook probably does too).

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Your contact information

Specifically, we don’t share this.
